ACTIONS SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS

This is an idiom. It means that what you do (actions) is more important than what you say (words). There are lots of examples to prove this idiom.

As we have seen a group in the class that group was totally against the Actions speaks louder than words. They had no gesture. This was the reason that presentation was Average.

One of the best examples is Charlie Chaplin. He was the pioneer of the comedy. He always made people laugh by his actions. He did not speak any single word.

New born babies convey his message through his actions because he is not able to speak at that time.


Traffic policeman use his hand and control all the traffic.

Mr. Bean is also one of the best examples of “Actions speaks louder than words.”


If any teacher delivers his lecture without using gesture. It will not be effective.
